Yolanda Update
May 16, 2015
Hi,

Thank You.

Thank You for the hundreds of of letters showing prayer and support.

Thank you for the many more that are unspoken.

Your prayer matters.

God does hear, and respond.

You are indeed the best bunch of readers and friends.

Friday evening, Yolanda was transferred from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility.

Actually a nursing home, but many nursing homes have special rooms for rehabbing.

She still has a Picc Line sewed into her Carotid Artery that her antibiotics are delivered through, plus IV's or anything else.

A tube still runs through her nose, to her stomach area (corepack), for tube feedings when needed.

Yolanda is quite alert most of the time, but still complains of headaches from time to time.

Karen and I are so beat down, we simply haven't the desire to deal with this at home.

We want her back home, but right now we are in no big hurry, as we want her healthy.

We are so behind on our chores.

I have mowed the lawn a couple of times, but no flowers or veggies have been planted just yet.

(Meningitis is a killer if not caught on time.)

I can't recall if I mentioned this last week.

Doctor says the bacteria is found in fecal matter.

Infectious disease, says it is a bacteria that lives without oxygen.

A common bacteria, but rare to be found in the spine.

I asked another doctor.

He reminded me, that we all have bacteria, but in a weakened state, we can't fight it off.

So many sickness and drugs kill off good bacteria as well.

Prayerfully, I will be ready and prepared to write a newsletter next week.

I still plan on continuing from pollinators and pesticides.

Again, thank you

God Is Good.

Until next time.

He says,

"Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."

Psalm 46:10

"Treat the earth well:

It was not given to you by your parents,

It was loaned to you by your children.

We do not inherit the Earth from our

Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

Ancient Indian Proverb

Your friend indeed,

Ron Patterson
