Glyphosate and Your Health
September 04, 2018

The resident turkey is becoming a bit of a celebrity.

Either that, or he likes having his picture taken.

Here he is on a neighbor's doorstep.

September, post Labor Day.

It is true, the older you get, the faster time seems to go by.

We have been blessed with Several inches of rain this past week.

The drought is over, but is it too late for certain crops?

Every month, or season within a season has something to offer.

Right now, it is the influx of fledged American Goldfinches.

We so enjoy the sounds and antics of these birds.

Seasons are so fleeting, aren't they?

While the weather is warm, get those feeders and water sources cleaned and sanitized.

While you are at it, there is no time like the present to clean and sanitize your bird houses and nest boxes.

American Goldfinch:

Here is an adult male gleaning from a sunflower head.

By the color and markings, I would say he is a yearling.

Male Goldies get their true colors the second year (they can still mate, however).

This is the final letter on Monsanto, thank you for your time.

Your health should be, and is an issue.

Hopefully I touch on enough to peak your interest.

Early on when I was working at a well known garden center here in the Grand Rapids, MI. area, we were indeed taught that the ingredients (including glyphosate), became almost instantly inert when not bonded to plant material.

I can't say i believed that, but that was the only information we had at that time.

Now we know that glyphosate stays at half strength for up to several years.

It kills off good, as well as bad bacteria.

Genetically Modified, or Engineered Plants are resistant to the toxins.

However, you and I aren't Genetically Modified.

And now we know just about all living matter can be affected, even onto death.

Again, this is not my best, but I hope you get the general idea.

Do some research.

Think of yourself, your kids, and grand kids.

Monsanto and Your Health.

Glyphsate News:

And Monsanto wants us to believe their product is an antibiotic, good for you health.

Studies actually find that Glyphosate actually destroys microbes in soil and Human Gut.

Global Research:

Gut bacteria is gaining increasing attention for the role it plays in our overall health. Given its influence on everything from immune function to digestion to brain function, research has been consistently showing the power of healthy gut bacteria – and the dangers of getting it wrong. Unfortunately, one very common chemical that has made its way to our food supply has now been shown to decimate gut microbes: glyphosate.

This chemical is already at the center of class action lawsuits filed by cancer patients, and the news keeps getting worse. As the main ingredient in the world’s most widely used herbicide, Monsanto’s Roundup, the ramifications for human health are huge.

Some of the medical problems linked to an imbalance of gut bacteria include colorectal cancer, diabetes, liver disease, cardiovascular disease, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, autism and obesity.

More on bacteria

We're only beginning to learn the importance of healthy gut bacteria to our overall health—and the relationship between healthysoiland the human microbiome.

We're only beginning to learn the importance of healthy gut bacteria to our overall health—and the relationship between healthysoiland the human microbiome.

We know that the human microbiome, often referred to as our "second brain," plays akey rolein our health, from helping us digest the food we eat, to boosting our brain function and regulating our immune systems.

Similar to animals, plants and soil, our bodies contain trillions of microbes—microscopic living organisms, such as bacteria, fungi and protozoa. The microbes in each person's body are unique, but not random. They colonize in the body, beginning from birth, depending on the microbes passed on by the mother. Over our lifetimes, they evolve according to our unique exposure to the outside world in order to protect us from disease such as cancer, diabetes and even autism.

What happens when our microbial community is disturbed? New research suggests that exposure to environmental toxins, such aspesticides, may alter the human microbiome, leaving us more vulnerable to sickness and disease.

A second new study suggests that the most widely used herbicide on the planet—Monsanto's Roundup weedkiller—could be causing more damage to our gut microbiome and overall health than we thought. Not only does the weedkiller contain glyphosate, but in its complete formulation, it also contains toxic levels of heavy metals, including arsenic.

So what happens as you unknowingly ingest glyphosate? The chemical has been proven to enhance environmental toxins and food-borne chemical residues. As studies have found, “negative impact on the body is insidious and manifests slowly over time as inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body.” The consequences include, among other diseases and conditions, obesity,
diabetes, Alzheimer’s, gastrointestinal disorders, and infertility.

Cows don’t appreciate it either; studies have found that glyphosate is toxic to their metabolism. In the study, all the cows had various levels of glyphosate in their urine, along with different degrees of organ, liver, and kidney damage.

There are more than 1,000 studies and papers regarding harm from GMOs and related pesticides.

To ignore these studies and to continue to allow Americans, the sickest population in the developed world, with the most expensive health care, to eat this food unknowingly, is contrary to the government's role in building a successful nation. The cost of diabetes alone will bankrupt the U.S. health care budget in 11 years if swift action is not taken to turn around the health crisis we have in America today. A major factor of diabetes has been directly linked to the fact thatglyphosate, sprayed on GMOs,destroys the body's ability to make serotonin, which regulates insulin. Diabetes in teens has quadrupled in the past 10 years, the same time period in which70 percent of all the glyphosatewhich has ever been sold, has been used.

Eighty percent of GMOs are engineered to withstand toxic pesticides and herbicides.

Numerous new studies nullify the 40-year-old science which claims these chemicals are safe. These studies show that glyphosate, atrazine, 2,4-D and many more chemicals are neurotoxins, destroy the gut bacteria which is where 70 percent of the immune system lies, cause liver and kidney damage, cause organ damage, increase antibiotic resistance, cause placental cell death and breast cancer cell growth. They have also been shown to be endocrine disruptors, causing birth defects, miscarriages, sterility and infertility. We currently have the highest rate of infertility in recorded history.

We also have 50 percent more babies that die on the first day of life than all of the industrialized nations combined. With GMOs being in 85 percent of our processed foods and glyphosate, an acknowledged "reproductive effector" by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), allowed on 160 of U.S. foods, the Senate Ag Committee decision to continue to dis-allow citizens to at least self-regulate the amount of GMOs they eat, means the
responsibility for the loss of these infants, if proven to be connected to these chemicals as indicated by the EPA, falls upon the government's shoulders.

Moms Across America:

May 5, 2017 Mission Viejo, CA-

Moms Across America releases their report on their recent findings of toxins in 36 American children, tested at Great Plains Lab, along with results from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency(CFIA). The results are disturbing and have an important message for Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian American consumers and food manufacturers.

“100% of all the children tested positive for serious toxins. 79% of the children tested had ADHD or autism symptoms, 21% did not. Over 50% tested positive levels of 3X higher than the average. We expected the children who ate organic to have lower levels of toxins than the children who did not. This was not the case for the majority of the children. Upon the release of the CFIA glyphosate data we realized why, and we hope consumer and food manufacturers take note of these important findings.”

Honeycutt focused primarily on glyphosate because scientists report that glyphosate increases the harmful impact of other environmental toxins, making the presence of the other 166 chemicals tested for, even more detrimental.

Do some research and you will find many of the foods that are supposed to be good for you, have the largest concentration of glyphosate.

Cheerios for one.

Used as a Desiccant

Insult to injury.

Few people know this, Roundup is also used as a crop desiccant.

The dictionary definition of Desiccant is: 'A Drying Agent'.

Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, is recognized as the world's most widely used weed killer. What is not so well known is that farmers also use glyphosate
on crops such as wheat, oats, edible beans and other crops right before harvest, raising concerns that the herbicide could get into food products.

Freely used by many farmers to kill and dry crops weeks before the natural process.

The idea is to get crops harvested quicker and lands prepared before weather becomes an issue.

Again, at what cost?

We are eating increased amounts of these chemicals.

I have said for years, "Anything designed to kill something, cannot be good for human consumption".

It Is Designed To Kill, Period.

Absorb enough and things begin to happen to animals and human beings.

The research is out there folks.

From male sperm counts dropping.

Birth defects recorded.

To good bacteria being killed off.

You've read and heard about Good bacteria, pro-biotics, etc.

Glyphosate is a killer.

Bone, kidney, liver issues.

Non Hodgkin Lymphoma

ADAD, ADD, Autism and more.

I am the uncle of a severe Autistic nephew, I know what families go through.

I'm not suggesting my nephew is due to glyphosate, (though they did live near a large agricultural area).

Too many things are pointing in a certain direction.

Is your health, your family's health worth 'don't ask, don't tell'?

It is sad we can't trust government organizations that were once formed to protect us.

Millions upon millions of dollars being spent to keep the real issue at bay.

Even more money being spent to keep food labels clean of all toxic evidence.

Food Babe:

Share this shocking new report with everyone you know…. A FDA-registered food safety laboratory tested iconic American food for residues of the weed killer glyphosate (aka Monsanto’s Roundup) and found ALARMING amounts.

Wheat, oats, soybeans, field-corn, all sprayed with copious amounts of chemicals.

Yet grains are supposed to be heart healthy.

Soybeans for whatever.

Corn fed cattle and chickens.

There isn't one thing natural about corn fed livestock.

Natural are free range animals that live off the land.

Okay, I have left a few sites for you to click on if you so choose.

I encourage you to Google and combination of these words and use your wisdom to weed out propaganda and lies from the real deal.

Thousands of lawsuits are now on the dockets since Dewayne Johnson's 289 million dollar victory over Monsanto.

And now, advertisements on TV for 'Class Action suits against Monsanto.

It was only a matter of time.

More Information From Natural News:

Few of us can eat organic 100% of the time.

Do look for as many foods that say GMO free, No antibiotics, Certified Natural.

My job was to inform you, I hope I woke a few of you up to the over use of toxins.

do your research, it is an Eye-Opener.

Well, it is time to fly for now.

Before I go, here is your positive thought for the week.

God Bless.

“Never speak of yourself to others; make them talk about themselves instead: therein lies the whole art of pleasing.”

Jules de Goncourt (1830-1870)

Pleasing others is well and good.

Pleasing God is all important.

"For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts".

1 Thessalonians 2:4

"Treat the earth well:

It was not given to you by your parents,

It was loaned to you by your children.

We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors,

We borrow it from our Children."

Ancient Indian Proverb.

A Blessed week to you .

Your friend indeed,

Ron Patterson
