No Letter, Yolanda is Sick Again
May 09, 2015

The orioles are back.

Rose breasted grosbeaks have arrived.

White-crowned sparrows cheer up the yard, and will for a couple of weeks before they head north.

Ruby (hummingbird) was spotted on May 7th as well.

All in this past week.

Sorry, no pictures today.

God's timing is perfect, as He knows we need something to cheer us up.

The last few days of April, and into May, Yolanda is once again having issues.

Severe headaches and throwing up.

Our first trip to Emergency and it was thought to be severe sinus problems.

By Friday night, we were back in ER.

A spinal tap showed cloudy fluid.

Bacterial Meningitis (the potentially deadly stuff).

Lord, why does this stuff keep happening to her?

To us?

A brother reminded me of this.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:8

A light went turned on.

Of course, any predator will seek out the sick, the weak, the helpless.

By keeping Karen and me busy as well, we were becoming ineffective servants for God.

I must tell you, we are beat up and beat down every way imaginable.

Physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Praise God he is true to His word.

Jesus told him, "Don't be afraid; just believe."

Mark 5: 36

This past Wednesday, Yolanda was transferred from on hospital to another, to have her Baclofen Pump surgically removed.

If the pump isn't the cause of the bacteria, it is surely a carrier and breeding ground, as a tube runs from the pump to the spine.

At this writing on Friday night, she is having a very rough go of it.

Totally wiped out.

So are mom and dad.

Oh how I would trade places with my baby.

There will be no newsletter this Monday, I haven't had the time, nor is my heart into it right now.

Stand firm and put on the full Armor of God.

Sometimes easier said than done, but we have an army praying for us, and that includes you.

This season too will come to an end.

Happy Mothers day to all and thank you for your understanding.

Here is your positive thought for the week.

God bless.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Jesus Christ

John 10:10

"Treat the earth well:

It was not given to you by your parents,

It was loaned to you by your children.

We do not inherit the Earth from our

Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

Ancient Indian Proverb

Your friend indeed,
