Christmas Letter
December 22, 2014
Hi,

Rejoice........ Rejoice.........

Again I say....... ...Rejoice.

Every Christmas, I attempt to send out a Christmas letter based on our Creator, and sharing my faith.

I don't talk religion.

I don't like religion.

Religions are man made rules and regulations, set to keep you and me under what I call a religious veil.

Too busy following man made rules to follow the Creator of all.

God's gift to us, is simple.

To set us free from sin and death, and have a full life.

Not to follow man.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

Again Jesus says........

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

(I also dislike the commercialism that has taken the place of Christ, in Christmas.)

This Christmas letter is about the gift God gave back to Karen and me.

Life is precious.

Life is oh so fragile.

Some how, saying "Thank You" seems so inadequate.

Yet, we can't possible thank individually, the hundreds of people that were, and are praying for us, and Yolanda's well being.

Through the 'Holy Spirit', your prayers reached heaven and made a difference.

Because an army of people were praying for us, and our daughter's life, I am here to write this letter.

A letter of joy, happiness, and giving Him all the glory.

If you noticed, there haven't been any newsletters lately.

If you are unaware of what has been going on around here, here it is in a nutshell.

November 20, our Yolanda (brain injured in a car accident years ago) went into full Cardiac Arrest.

911 call, CPR performed a few times from here to, and at the hospital.

She was without oxygen for several minutes.

We were told every bad and negative scenario possible.

About the time all hope seemed lost, Yolanda had stabilized enough for medical help (pacemaker) to be effective.

A few days later, a permanent pacemaker was surgically implanted.

Because she was so weak, a feeding tube was put in place on December 5.

Late that evening, and into early Saturday, she was throwing up copious amounts of blood.

Not a pretty sight.

Emergency surgery to, to repair a blood vessel damaged when putting in the feeding tube.

Only later, did were we told that this is often fatal.

Home on December 11, back into emergency December 12 to replace the feeding tube.

Somewhere in this mess, I was crying and told God how I feel so helpless.

His response to me was this.

"When you are weakest, I am strong."

From the bible.......

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Our Lord has kept Karen and me going, as prayer for us has been answered too.

It is wonderful to have her back home.

No further brain damage.

She still smiles and has her wit about her.

Physically is more of a challenge right now, as she was stationary (in bed) for a solid three weeks.

What little she could do, is a chore for all of us.

In house PT, and Dietitian come and help out once a week and give us things to help with.

Because she was catheterized for three weeks, and the high fiber formula pumped into her, there are accidents to take care of.

Still, in time, and with prayer, this to will improve.

We are believing in more miracles.

God often waits till things seem hopeless, and we cry out to Him.

I mean really cry out to Him.

Because we have our girl back.

Because it is Christmas...........

I say in confidence, and in humbleness.....................................

("Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you." James 4:10)

It is an honor and a privilege to serve, and worship the Only Living God.

"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15

Well, it is time to fly for now.

As always, I take the week off between Christmas and New Years Day.

Prayerfully, I will be back in 2015.

Here is my request of you.........

Please allow me to pray for you.

I pray daily for all of you daily.

Allow for me to pray for you and your needs individually.

Do you need prayer for a healing, job, broken heart............

Let me be a part of God's army to pray for you.

Prayer warriors are needed.

God Bless.

No human knows the exact day that Jesus was born.

The Christian world, for centuries has celebrated the birth on December 25.

Christmas, Not Holiday.

The Birth of Christ, not the birth of retail sales.

Now we must take Christ out of Christmas, because we might offend someone.

Well, it offends me, and should offend any Christian.

He lives so we might live.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:8-14

"Treat the earth well:

It was not given to you by your parents,

It was loaned to you by your children.

We do not inherit the Earth from our

Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

Ancient Indian Proverb

Your friend indeed,
